Local Mold Remediation company looking to hire full time employee to work with our team on various mold remediation and radon mitigation projects. This position is full time year round work. This position involves all aspects of mold remediation work from containment to abatement, customer interactions, proper safety and job site protocols, etc.

Responsibilities include:

-Managing the remediation job site, working with the Owner/ Supervisor.
-Maintaining all remediation equipment, being responsible for all equipment upkeep.
-Must have good people skills and work well with others, must be able to work directly with homeowners.
-Must have reliable transportation, this does not mean getting rides or sharing a car w/ the wife.
-Hours are typically 8am-4pm Monday through Friday
-All work is local, most within Monroe county.
-Must be comfortable in confined spaces such as attic crawlspaces.
-Setting up and operating all remediation equipment.
-Wearing appropriate PPE on site.
-Performing selective demolition such as flood cuts, drywall removal.
-Adding ventilation to attics such as soffit vents, baffles, exhaust vents. -Will train
-Removing/ pulling back attic insulation to increase air flow.
- Pay is based on experience and knowledge.
-Willing to train the right person on radon mitigation work as well.
-Remediation in Attics and Basements, attics are a must and experience preferred.
-Prefer a current mold remediation workers license or previously held a workers license.
-Will train.

What is a "passing" or "failing" radon test? Even though the EPA says you need to take action when a test reveals 4 picocuries per liter and the World Health Organization recommends mitigation if levels are any higher than 2.7 picocuries per liter, technically there is NO level of radon that is safe.

Therefore, a "passing" result could still have you and your family breathing unsafe air. Hire a mitigation company that works to get the levels as low as possible and make sure you do a follow-up test to ensure you got results.
