I keep saying I will share more of things I have written or lectured, and have been incredibly slow to do so.

So, here is a a lecture and QA session I did with Professor Juan Cuevas' Architecture studio at Chulalongkorn University.

In it, I am discussing my graduate thesis research project titled "Utopia in the Apocalypse: Creating a Framework of Survival Systems."

Although I am the biggest fan of dystopian media, a lot of research shows humanity's potential for community and innovation in times of disaster.

I discuss different aspects of how Architecture, Engineering and Design could create truly self sufficient systems in such dire times.

While it was tough at times to revisit work I did MANY years ago, it was pretty cool to talk about it with the next generation of Architects.

It was also spooky how relevant a lot of it was after Covid devastated the planet and how the psychology of humanity banding together seems harder than ever to believe.

Continuing with the theme of sharing things I wrote, below is an article I had published in this month's AIA New York State newsletter.

The issue asked for Architectural content regarding technology. You will quickly notice that myself and four other contributors wrote about Artificial Intelligence.

You will also notice that the four other articles are much more optimistic about AI, whereas my article can be summarized much easier in three words:
