📈 Talk about moving up!

This year, LaBella climbed 27 spots on the 2026 MEP Giants list, moving from No. 62 all the way to No. 35! The jump marks the largest ranking increase among this year’s Top 100 firms.

This also marks our 11th consecutive year earning a spot on Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s annual list recognizing the nation’s leading mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering firms.

Kristie Hooper, LaBella's Director of Business Development for Waste & Recycling, will bring some of those stories to the forefront during the “Women in Waste” panel discussion at the Southwest Virginia Solid Waste Management Association's 2026 Annual Conference in Roanoke, Virginia.

This National Hydropower Day, we’re celebrating the people, projects, and infrastructure that keep hydropower working for communities across the country.

At the Kents Falls Hydroelectric Station in Morrisonville, NY, LaBella has supported critical infrastructure improvements for several years, helping strengthen the facility’s safety, reliability, and long-term performance. The projects highlighted in this video showcase two recent efforts, including flood protection upgrades and penstock rehabilitation and replacement, demonstrating LaBella’s ongoing commitment to the station and its future.
