Sometimes, I stand in the middle of our classroom and just look around. It makes my heart so happy.❤️

I love our new layout! There’s more room to move, and our learning corners are better organized, giving our preschoolers inviting spaces to play, explore, create, and learn together.📚🎨🧩

Every little corner is arranged with our children in mind. Seeing them enjoy this space is the most rewarding part. So much learning, laughter, and growing happens here at La Petite École!🇫🇷✨

At La Petite École, our days are filled with play, discovery, and learning 🤗🇫🇷

Alongside our playful activities, we introduce academics through letter recognition, tracing, and little worksheets, always adapting to each child’s pace and readiness.

Since the very beginning, one-on-one teaching has been at the heart of our preschool. We sit beside each child, work together, encourage them, and celebrate their progress. These little moments of individual attention mean so much. ❤️

And if a child would rather keep playing? We let them play! We want learning to feel inviting, without pressure. There is time to explore, time to play, and time to try something new.

But trust me, our little ones get so excited about their worksheets! Seeing their smiles when they finish, and how proud they are of themselves, makes me so happy.

Our goal goes beyond recognizing or tracing a letter. We want our children to feel capable, confident, and excited to learn. That is what makes these moments so special. ✨LaPetiteEcole

I’ve been working on this painting for quite some time. Today, I laid it on my table and painted over it.

It was beautiful, but it didn’t move me. It didn’t make me feel alive inside. And that’s what I want from my art, and from everything else: to feel something.

It’s okay to start over, even when you’ve spent so much time on something. Sometimes you have to let go to see what else is waiting to come out.

I don’t know what this next painting will bring out of me or what will appear on the canvas, and that’s what excites me. I love the unknown, the anticipation, the possibility.

I’m so glad I have this weekend to paint. I can’t wait to see what comes to life.🤗🥰 Mme Kari

Visual prompts are such a wonderful way to talk with preschoolers about the behaviors we expect in the classroom. ❤️

Children remember what they see, and these simple images can help spark meaningful conversations. Instead of simply telling a child, “Don’t run” or “Don’t throw toys,” we can show them a situation and ask:

💭 What is happening in this picture?
💭 Is this safe?
💭 How does the other child feel?
💭 What could we do differently?
💭 What would YOU do?

The image helps make the lesson memorable, while the questions encourage children to think, communicate, and understand why our classroom rules matter.

At La Petite École, we want our preschoolers to learn to be kind, respectful, safe, and thoughtful friends. ❤️

Print them, laminate them, and bring them to circle time. The conversations are just as important as the pictures!

Bonjour ! A beautiful beginning at La Petite École. 🇫🇷

Our first week was filled with so much joy as we welcomed new little faces and reunited with our returning students.

We are especially grateful for our wonderful families. Their trust, support, and enthusiasm for our program mean so much to us.

Our newly designed classrooms were thoughtfully created to inspire curiosity, creativity, independence, and a love of learning. Watching our preschoolers explore their new environment has been truly special.

And did you know? If you want a child to learn from you, get down on their level, play with them, enter their world, and first earn their trust. Once they feel safe and connected, learning follows naturally. ❤️

That is at the heart of what we do at La Petite École.

We are incredibly happy and grateful to announce that La Petite École French Preschool is FULL for the 2026–2027 school year! 🎉

What began as a little dream has continued to grow because of the incredible trust, love, and support of our families and our community.
