Long Pond Cottage Renovation
New vinyl casement windows, PVC trim, entry door & screen door outside. New bead-board paneling walls, tin ceiling & luxury vinyl plank flooring inside. After the owners get a little painting done, this little gem will be ready for some long, relaxing days and nights. Fingers crossed for an early spring.

Here's my most recently completed project. This customer wanted to upgrade their entry by getting rid of the carpeted stairs and open up the view. I modernized the space with new oak treads, risers, skirt boards, posts, & handrails. I finished it off with black metal balusters. This customer has a fully finished and insulated porch but with all the glass it is still a little chilly on the coldest winter days and all that chilly air was making it's way into the main living area. We decided to add a door into the existing cased opening but instead of a solid door we went with a full glass door to keep the light and the view. The opening is extra wide and we didn't want to close it down so we had a custom size door manufactured. After a little carpentry work to straighten out the framing I installed the new door and the customer achieved exactly what they were hoping for.

CUSTOM FARMHOUSE TABLE

GARDEN BENCH ...
Also sometimes called a Leopold Bench. I made this one out of pressure treated lumber to be long lasting in our harsh New England weather. This version comfortably seats 2 people but the plans could easily be modified to be a single. All joints are glued and screwed making this bench very sturdy. If you are interested in owning one of these I can build you one (or several) for $125.00 each... slightly less for a single.
