and Colliers Engineering & Design completed another very successful ACE Mentor Program of Rochester year and celebrated with this year’s graduating class! We had 47 students participate this year with $36,000 in scholarships and tool vouchers awarded to 12 students. We are passionate about the design and construction industry and dedicated to providing involvement in the program as Mentors and Board Members, and we are already looking forward to next year’s program. Congratulations to all of this year’s students!

Over the past three weeks, 's project team engaged on the of Rochester Aqueduct Reimagined project has been working with second graders from Exploration Charter School. Members of the project team from the City of Rochester, including Kamal Crues, Bergmann team members and Shawn Dunwoody welcomed three classes into Bergmann’s offices to learn more about the Aqueduct Reimagined project, bridge design and each student also had the chance to design their own bridge using toothpicks and marshmallows.

The results were VERY impressive! A special thanks to the teachers at Exploration Charter school, the students and all the team members who made this possible.

We had a great time hosting Rochester City School District students for Job Shadow Day! was one of more than 60 businesses across Monroe County to open their doors for students for informational sessions on architecture, planning, landscape architecture, structural engineering, laser scanning, augmented reality.

With more than 51 years of experience in Transportation Engineering, Frank has played important roles in numerous critical transportation projects across the region. Bergmann and Colliers Engineering & Design are proud to host a number of ACE Mentoring Program of Rochester classes for the 2022-2023 program year. ACE Mentor Program of Rochester exposes area high school students to all forms of architecture, engineering and construction to help educate and inspire careers in the design and construction industries.

Bergmann has been a vested supporter and sponsor of ACE Mentoring over the past five years. During the Playhouse Program, focusing on vertical design and construction, the students were challenged with building a model as high as they could following a presentation on structural engineering.
