Today marks RAB's 73rd anniversary! For more than seven decades, we've had the opportunity to bring together local builders, industry professionals, and businesses who share a commitment to strengthening our building industry and the community we call home.

A lot has changed since 1953, but the relationships, collaboration, and dedication of our members have remained at the heart of what we do.

And while we're celebrating 73 years today, we're already looking ahead to a big milestone, our 75th anniversary!

We're beginning to explore a special celebration in collaboration with the History Center of Olmsted County, and we'll be reaching out to gather historic photos, memorabilia, and stories from RAB's past.

Stay tuned as we start planning for 75 years of Rochester Area Builders!

Elcor Construction put together a behind-the-scenes look at the current tunnel construction, giving us a perspective we don't often get.

Pretty interesting to get an inside look at what goes into a project like this!

We were grateful for the opportunity to be part of an important conversation about housing in Rochester.

RAB members recently met with senior leaders from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the federal agency focused on housing and community development, to talk about Rochester’s housing needs and how we can continue working together to support our growing community.

Our members were able to share what they’re seeing firsthand, discuss some of the challenges facing housing locally, and bring the perspective of our building industry to the conversation.

There’s no single solution, but conversations like these are an important part of working together to meet the needs of our community.
