Very special Christmas gift that we have been holding for a few months. Duke is a very dear family friend and we were honored to build this for him. The images on the flag are of the helicopter he flew in Vietnam, his squadron patch, along with his rank. I think we had him speechless when he opened it up this evening. Also, thanks once again to Top Shelf Timber, LLC for the wood supply.

Huge shoutout to Top Shelf Timber, LLC for coming out to the house today. Got started around 8am and finished up around 3pm. Sawmill worked hard! Sawed close to 1500 board feet of lumber. 8x8 posts, 2x4’s, 2x8’s, and 2x10’s. Plus enough 1” boards to keep me busy with projects for a long time. Now to find a place to store it all and dry. If you need any sawmill lumber, give this fella a shout. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks again buddy!!
