Ferro Asphalt owns and operates one of the area's largest State Certified Hot Mix Asphalt Plants. With a production capability of 600 tons per hour and Silo Storage capacity of 2,000 tons, Ferro Asphalt is able to provide Hot Mix Asphalt for our ongoing projects as well as serve the needs of our material purchase customers. We have a fully equipped on site testing laboratory and Quality Control s

taff capable of testing and reporting our Hot Mix Asphalt Materials, as well as performing on the job density and smoothness tests. Ferro Asphalt utilizes Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) in multiple mix designs, resulting in reduced costs, enhanced performance, and a reduced environmental impact. We have multiple IDOT Approved Mix designs, ranging from High-Rap Binder and Base Course to Polymer Modified and Slag Mixes. Our state of the art fleet of Pavers, Rollers, and Semi Trucks combined with an experienced, knowledgeable staff provides Ferro Asphalt with the ability to perform projects ranging from parking lots to highway resurfacing.
