This is my personal driveway. It’s about 800’ of asphalt millings. It had some pretty substantial washboarding and gets beat up from farm equipment for hay. The CMP Attachments hydrabucket hammered it out in no time and made easy work of it. Admittedly I didn’t roll or pack it beyond tracking it in, but I can also grade it any time I want. Mostly wanted to demonstrate the abilities of the hydrabucket.

Got another yard for new build all graded and ready for seed! Once again teamed up with James over at Three Petals Landscaping on this one. I knocked out the dirt work and he’ll get them all set up on the grass side. This one was a little tight and had a pretty substantial hill, but it’s all ready to be planted now! The homeowner will be doing some tree work in the backyard and isn’t really sure of his plan back there yet, so we only went to the backline of the house.

Had the opportunity to get a yard for a new home prepped today! James over at Three Petals Landscaping reached out and was looking for some assistance with the dirt side of things for this job. The homeowner is going to have irrigation installed and then sod will be laid on the whole yard. We had 24yds of screened topsoil to put down and grade out. Additionally, we had 10yds of fill sand to assist with the elevation around the freshly poured back patio. All in all, I think it turned out fantastic! It’s ready for the irrigation guys to tear it up lol.

I may just be somebody that works in the dirt now, but I was someone once. To all that have paid the ultimate sacrifice while holding that thin line, a citizenry that can never truly express their gratitude thanks you.

Man, been a busy week! Ran some material deliveries, knocked out a few driveways, got an RV pad done, and even did some estimates!

Today’s project was an approximate 12x20 crushed concrete pad for a camper. The homeowner had already built, and rather solidly and robustly might I add, a retaining wall for the pad. To make it challenging, there were not one, but two, irrigation valve boxes riiiiight in the geometric center of it. I got the grass/organics stripped off and hauled out. I then laid heavy duty fabric over the whole pad and hauled in 5 tons of crushed concrete. This was spread, graded, and then compacted. And of course I left the plate compactor on the pad when I was putting some water down, thus the dry spot lol

Furthermore, there were two downspouts near the pad that the homeowner asked to be buried and ran to a pop up.

Very solid day and an even better customer to work for!

Got a small driveway graded out today for another great customer! The homeowner had previously had gravel delivered and had the dump truck driver attempt to tailgate spread it, but unfortunately overhead power lines really limited this method. So the homeowner was left with a pretty uneven spread that resulted in a lot of low spots that became mud holes when it rained. I came in with the CMP Attachments hydrabucket and power raked and regraded the whole thing. I pulled high spots from the dumped load over to the low spots and cut some of the shoulder off his driveway to help rain run off instead of sitting on it. I think it turned it out great!
