Coastal Copper & Slate, Inc. along with Maine Patina (Matt Pollis) took today to get the material and supplies out to the Rockland Lighthouse to start work on the slate roof. The job will take approximately two months to complete.

What with all the storms we have had and more coming, we are extremely overwhelmed with calls to look at leaks. These leaks are not caused by our workmanship but the wind directions with gusts over 65 mph. We ask our customers to please bare with us. We have not been able to get caught up at all before another storm comes. Crazy winter. Thank you all for your patience.

John Patrick Massicotte, 49, went to be with his Lord Sunday, May 7, 2017, unexpectedly at home. John was born in West Palm Beach, Fla., Feb. 8, 1968, to Aloha Massicotte (Athearn) and Geoffrey Massicotte.

Email that we received from another happy customer....
"Hi Eric,
Your two young men came this morning, and cleared off the front and left side of the roof of the snow - the right was minimal, and hopefully will melt soon.
They were very polite and we discussed what to do with the residual snow on the ground. I told them not to worry about the considerable amount of snow in the front that fell, we will take care of that very heavy stuff with the tractor (my engineer neighbor will use my Kubota...). They did a nice job of shoveling around my stairs afterwards -

With the Nor'Easta coming, we ask that if you do not have to go out later on tonight but especially tomorrow, please don't. This is going to be a very nasty storm with high winds. When things calm down, give us a call to come a look at your roof to make sure that any snow on it will not damage your roof. We have the equipment to clean off your roof without damaging it.
