Hey y'all, I just wanted to offer a friendly reminder that when you shop local/use local services, you're literally supporting your entire community. When you spend your money with local businesses, you enable us to spend money with other local businesses, as well as support local schools, nonprofits, churches, community events, etc.
We own two businesses in Rockmart (Xtreme Tree Worx and Rock Solid Trailer Worx). We live and work right here in Polk County. Both of our businesses are family owned and operated. When you call the tree service, I answer the phone, Jason (my husband) bids the job, and our son Tyler, my brother in law Darrell, and cousin Ricky are 3 of the 4 that do the work. The 4th crew member Josh, is a local young man as well. At the trailer dealership, it's me, Jason, our daughter Madison, and another local, Melissa.
When you spend money with either business, you are supporting 7 households, spread throughout Rockmart, Cedartown, and Aragon. That is 7 households spending money with other local businesses.
When you spend money with us, you're supporting the Rockmart High School football & cheer team, the Cedartown Rec teams, along with other things we support/donate to along the way, like the Polk Pullers, various little league teams and clubs, etc. You're supporting Morning View Baptist Church, because that's where we attend and tithe. We support every local business that we possibly can, as well. When we need a service or a product, we try to find it in Polk County first when possible! I'm certainly not trying to toot our horn by mentioning that we donate to various organizations, but I just want you to know that we do keep our dollars in town, and we do care about your kids' schools and LOCAL community organizations.
I keep seeing these huge half-million dollar tree trucks out here going up and down our roads, belonging to to tree services out of Marietta or Roswell that are owned by huge investors/corporations, and it's like a gut punch. We want to be your local tree service that you can call if, God forbid, a tree falls on your house at 2 am, or just for your everyday tree trimming or removal. We want you to have the peace of mind of knowing your neighbor is coming to your house, not some stranger from 3 counties away. In addition to that, we want you to have the satisfaction of knowing your dollars will continue to support your neighbors and community. 💛🖤❤️🖤
I know this same sentiment goes for so many local businesses! I see them spending their money to make Polk County thrive as well, and that's a blessing!
Again, I'm just offering a gentle reminder that hey, we are here to support and serve our neighbors, and we hope you will do the same! We love and appreciate all our loyal customers and our community as a whole. This is such a great place to live! We look forward to living, growing, and serving in Polk County for many years to come. 😊g
