This was another bathroom I remodeled in Potomac (just across the hall from the marble shower). I installed wainscoting in both bathrooms and incorporated a built-in recessed into the wall in this one. This obviously provided functional storage but also amplified the wainscoting by really giving the sense that every surface the room had received customized attention.

This is a marble shower I installed. With traditional 5’ shower enclosures, clients often opt for me to install semi frameless sliding doors (rather than custom) for savings that don’t cost a penny aesthetically 😝. I almost always prefer sliding doors whenever possible in bathrooms for space savings as well.

Here’s an example of a combination paint-grade bookshelf/ cabinetry-base built-in I constructed to fit the space. It’s always best when combining paint-grade and cabinet-grade materials to not try to match the two but rather to select colors that will contrast with or complement one another in some way.

This ones an oldie but a goodie. Here’s an example of a take on a non-traditional storage space. Because we didn’t have depth for a full closet (2’), I built cabinet boxes 2’ wide and created bottomless pullout drawers to carry the weight of a rod perpendicular to the unit.
