The report outlines how tools like spectrophotometers (both handheld and benchtop) can be used to assess both reflected and transmitted color differences. It also discusses how raw material changes over time or across batches can cause noticeable variation in final installations.

The industry is aligning around a Delta ECMC value range of 0 to 5 as an acceptable tolerance level.
