Was happy to be part of this project. For this sign it took 2 cubes of brick and 160 concrete blocks to construct. Soldier course, corbelling, along with other techniques were used to make the church's sign unique instead of a cookie cutter design.

Due to the last few months of different projects and overcoming challenges that were unforeseen still persevered though it. In the end it was a good lesson and to look forward to the future. Have 20 years of experience in numerous projects using brick block and rock. Whether it be just a simple sidewalk using running bond pattern to detailed work on home living spaces. This monstrosity of steps were done in Roanoke, VA. Despite the weather, sweat, stress pushed through and completed the steps. Incorporating 2 different set of steps and making it work took several moments of head scratching. To match house and rest of neighborhood a rowlock was used to complete the look. To make it standout every corner of the steps mitered corners (crows feet) were installed. Over 400 concrete blocks (4cubes) and roughly 2,500 brick (5cubes) were used to make this. This project with the obstacles, critical thinking, and overcoming challenges this project will be talked about for years to come

The original walkway was falling to pieces and the bond was broken. This stone is labeled as brown flagstone. But there are so many other elaborate colors and tones. Also doing in a mosaic pattern really helps bring the color out. The secret to this is time and patience haha. Another project completed in Danville, VA. It was satisfying doing something different. 8 in cmu's were used to make shell. At each column has water feature and lights. Real veneer stone and flagstone caps. It's the first week of March. Old man winter is packing his bags and heading towards the door for us to welcome spring. First project successfully completed of 2025!!!. Between the rain, snow, and bitter cold we prevailed through. From demolition of old worn out, not on the same measurements steps, to pouring footer and putting back not only decorative but structural and safe steps. Very pleased with how it turned out. Even groundskeeper got to play apart in laying the last brick. This project reminded us to leave 2024 where it belonged. In the past. It's ok to remember and acknowledge the past but also to let go and not relive it. Looking forward to numerous and challenging projects that lay ahead.
