This is how you make a 1995 Minnesota house look like it was built in 2026.
Before we touched this project, the house still had its original tan stucco from 30 years ago.
Here's the thing about stucco though. It's porous. After 30 years of Minnesota weather, water slowly works its way in behind it and just sits there, eating away at the sheathing.
And since it's frozen half the year, that moisture has nowhere to go. So it rots way faster than it should.
The vinyl on the sides and back? Honestly still in decent shape. So we left it alone. No reason to fix something that's not broken.
So here's what we did.
We went with LP SmartSide across the whole front in Rapids Blue. With abyss black trim around the windows, & doors, paired with black soffit, fascia, and gutters. + some cavern steel (grey) board & batten to add some depth.
We call it the Minnesota Mullet. Beauty in the front, budget in the back.
No more patching. No more repainting. And no more water where it doesn't belong.
Family Owned & Operated for 32+ years
