The City of Rogers is committed to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming neighborhoods for all residents. To better achieve this, we are updating how we address unsightly and unsanitary property violations, including tall grass.
Under the new process, property owners will still receive notice when a violation occurs. However, if the issue is not corrected within 7 days, the City’s Parks Department will step in to mow or clean the property. A lien will then be placed on the property to recover the costs of the cleanup.
This streamlined approach ensures that violations are resolved quickly, rather than lingering for months or even years without action. The result is a cleaner community and greater fairness for residents who take pride in caring for their properties.
We also want residents to be aware of a new online dashboard, available on the Neighborhood Services Unit website. This tool allows the public to view code enforcement cases on an interactive map and filter them by date range, type of violation, or status. By making this information easily accessible, residents can stay informed about activity in their neighborhoods, see how issues are being addressed, and better understand the City’s commitment to maintaining safe and attractive communities.

We understand this change may feel like an adjustment for some property owners. However, it reflects our responsibility to all Rogers residents, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a higher quality of life.
Together, we can continue to build a city that reflects the pride and care of its community.
