Progress is moving right along at our Dirt Road Dwelling! 🌾 The rough grade has been completed on the yard, which is a big step in shaping the property. Rough grading is important because it establishes the drainage, prevents water from pooling near the home, and creates a clean slate for landscaping and final touches down the road. It feels fitting that this stage of dirt work is helping bring the vision of Dirt Road Dwelling to life from the ground up.

Today also brought another big milestone—the septic tank was installed ✅. Everything is looking so neat, clean, and ready for the next phase. Exciting days ahead for this countryside retreat!

🚜 Progress at Humble Roots Homestead 🚜

The driveway arc is officially complete! Our dedicated excavation contractor dug down to hard ground and built it back up to ensure a solid, lasting foundation for years to come.

We designed this entrance with a gentle, lazy arch, creating a seamless flow for easy entrances and exits. With three homes coming together on this shared property, it was important to maximize function while honoring the land.

This thoughtful design isn’t just about a driveway—it’s about helping these families achieve their future goals and making the best use of their property as their homestead vision comes to life. 🌿🏡

Yesterday was such a meaningful step forward at our Whispering Oaks project. Our client arrived into town, and we spent the afternoon together reviewing the last details to finalize their budget.

But the best part of the day was being out on their homesite, standing where their future will unfold. Our excavation contractor had just cut us a path through the property, which made it so much easier to explore. As we walked, we talked through what mattered most to our clients: placing the home in just the right spot so they can enjoy as much backyard as possible while still honoring the land—saving the gorgeous white oaks and preserving that “walking in the woods” feeling they can already envision their grandchildren enjoying for years to come.

The white oaks are incredible, and once the brush and nuisance trees are cleared, their character will really shine. We may even uncover a dry creek bed winding through the property, adding another layer of beauty and charm.

And as a bonus, today also gave us the chance to meet their soon-to-be neighbors, which made the day feel even more special. It was a wonderful afternoon spent dreaming, planning, and visualizing what’s to come. We can’t wait to see this peaceful retreat begin to take shape.

What sets us apart from other you might ask?

●We design all of our systems to maximize efficiency without any wasting water!💲

●We use all PEX piping! NO PVC!
(Except on lake pump systems that require much larger lines.)

The compliment most often given is. " You have already installed the sprinkler system!" "Where!?"

This is because we are very meticulous through the process to keep things nice and neat leaving the smallest footprint we can!

We can do the whole process for you. Seed & straw or sod.

Option 2
Some customers prefer us to prep the ground for them and then they do the seed or sod to save some money.
