This is a huge loss to our Winsupply family. Gary wasn’t just a customer, he was a friend to each and every one of us and a mentor to many. Rest in peace Gary.
Gary James Sinnott, of Rolla, MO, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the age of 65.
He was born on September 14, 1957 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to the late Richard L. Sinnott and Marlys (Bedard) Sinnott. On April 9, 1976, he married Sandra (Newton) Sinnott at St. Patrick Church in Rolla, MO.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Jodi Sinnott; his father-in-law, Murl Hahn, and a nephew, Michael Newton.
Gary was larger than life. Every year he looked forward to hunting in Competition and Iowa with his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing at the lake. He was quite the cook and loved to host fish fries and get-togethers in his shop. You could almost always find Gary in his shop listening to music, drinking a cold Bud Light, and having a good time. The one thing Gary loved the most was making people laugh. He was unfiltered, and often could be quoted saying, “I’m just saying what everyone else is thinking”. He loved his family and friends big and was always full of life. He will forever be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
His surviving family includes: his wife, Sandra “Sandy” Sinnott of Rolla, MO; one son, Ryan Sinnott of Rolla, MO; a daughter, Kayla Sinnott and fiancé, Nolan Marling of Rolla, MO; four brothers, Rick Sinnott and wife, Lisa of Alaska, Randy Sinnott and companion, Jorry of Eugene, OR, Terry Sinnott and wife, Aubri of Rolla, MO, and Don Sinnott and wife, Lauren of SC; three sisters, Luanne Pasley and husband, Jim of Winona, MO, Dianne Chand and husband, Parveen, of Indianapolis, IN, and Lori Eyberg and husband, Jay of Rolla, MO; his mother-in-law, Shirley Hahn; one aunt, Kathleen Sinnott; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
A funeral service for Gary J. Sinnott will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Pea Ridge Cemetery in Doolittle, MO. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
