🌷 Tip Tuesday: Keep Your Flowers Fresh & Bright All June Long! ☀️

Hot summer days can be tough on annual flowers, but a few simple steps can help keep them healthy, colorful, and thriving throughout June!

💧 Water early in the morning using a soaker hose or drip irrigation system. Avoid shallow watering — make sure moisture reaches at least 6–8 inches deep into the roots.

🌱 Apply a thin layer of fresh mulch to help keep the soil cool, hold in moisture, and protect roots from the hot summer sun.

✂️ Snip off faded or dying blooms regularly to encourage fresh growth and more flowers.

🌤️ During extreme heat, use breathable shade cloth or temporary coverage to help prevent petals and soil from drying out too quickly.

🚫 Avoid fertilizing during major heatwaves. Flowers are already stressed from the heat, and fertilizing can sometimes do more harm than good during extreme temperatures.

As our Material Driver, Mason is always willing to jump in and help wherever he's needed—whether that's assisting our crews in the field or lending a hand to the mechanics. His supervisors consistently praise his positive attitude, strong work ethic, and readiness to tackle whatever the day brings.

When Mason found out he was selected, he said he enjoys being part of the team and has a lot of fun working here!

Mason also recently won our Crew shoutout challenge for receiving the most compliments from customers and coworkers!
