🎉 Last week, we proudly celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the completion of Phase II of The Core Apartments at Station Yards, marking another major milestone in the transformation of the Ronkonkoma LIRR train station area.

Phase II adds 175 apartment homes, 1,419 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail space, and additional resident parking to one of Long Island’s largest transit-oriented developments. This completion represents the "fourth wall" of the downtown at Station Yards and continues our vision of creating a vibrant, connected downtown centered around transit, community, and opportunity.

The event brought together local, Suffolk County, and New York State officials, project partners, business leaders, and community stakeholders to celebrate the impact of public-private collaboration in delivering much-needed housing and economic growth for Long Island.

A special thank you to all our partners, elected officials, contractors, and community members who joined us for this occasion. We were also honored to have Anne Marie Coughlan lead the ribbon cutting as she celebrated her 90th birthday, a meaningful moment that reflected the family foundation and values that continue to guide TRITEC today.

We are proud to announce the promotion of Kevin S. Law to Principal at TRITEC Real Estate Company.

Since joining TRITEC in 2021 as Partner and Executive Vice President, Kevin has helped advance our development strategy, leading projects that strengthen communities and expand housing opportunities across Long Island and beyond.

A highly respected leader in real estate, economic development, and public service, Kevin also serves as Chairman of Empire State Development, Chairman of the Stony Brook University Council, and Chairman of the Long Island Housing Partnership. Prior to joining TRITEC, he served as President and CEO of the Long Island Association, where he helped secure more than $5 billion in infrastructure investment for the region.

🏗️ Construction progress continues at Brightview Senior Living in Greenburgh, NY, where TRITEC is serving as Construction Manager.

The project is nearing a major milestone as vertical construction approaches completion. The final section of the building will soon be topped out, with the entire structure expected to be under roof within the next two weeks.

The teams are advancing interior work throughout the building, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, drywall, and door installation. Site improvements are also well underway, with curb installation, hardscape work, asphalt paving, and street improvements progressing on schedule.

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Howard "Howie" Stein, Chair of Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLC.

Howie was not only our "go-to" outside counsel, but was part of the TRITEC family. He played a significant role in TRITEC's growth over the past thirty years, offering trusted counsel, thoughtful advice, and steadfast friendship through many important milestones.

His wisdom, integrity, and dedication left a lasting impact on our company and the people who had the privilege of working with him. His counsel, advice, and friendship will be deeply missed, but his legacy will always be remembered.

Kevin was recognized for his outstanding leadership and lasting impact on Long Island through his work in business, government, affordable housing, and regional economic development. Business leaders, local organizations, live music, and community all came together at Station Yards 🎶🤝

Last week, we were proud to host the HIA-LI and The MacArthur Business Alliance (MBA) for an evening of networking on the Village Green featuring member vendor tents, live music by The Como Brothers, and opportunities for professionals across Long Island to connect in a vibrant downtown setting.

Guests also had the chance to explore the growing lineup of Station Yards retailers and learn about the unique corporate experiences available on-site, from team bonding workshops at Hammer & Stain DIY Workshops - Long Island to private party spaces and full restaurant buyouts for company events.

The event was the perfect kickoff to two exciting upcoming business community events: the HIA-LI Trade Show on May 28 and the MBA’s Hangarfest on June 12. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a great night of connection, collaboration, and community at Station Yards.
