WE’RE HIRING: EXPERIENCED RESIDENTIAL DIRT WORK OPERATOR

Dirt Lab is looking for an experienced operator who understands that residential dirt work is its own animal.

We’re not looking for someone who simply knows how to move dirt or run a machine. We’re looking for someone who understands the full scope of residential work, pays attention to detail, can work in tight spaces, and knows how important it is to protect homes, concrete, utilities, and the work of other trades.

This is also not a sit-in-the-cab-all-day position. Our operators are expected to get out of the machine when the job requires it, use hand tools, perform manual labor, and do what needs to be done to finish the job correctly.

What we’re looking for:
• Proven residential dirt work experience
• Experience with rough and final grading
• Ability to operate skid steers, excavators, loaders, and other equipment
• Willingness to use hand tools and perform manual labor when needed
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Pride in leaving behind a clean, professional finished product
• Dependability and a strong work ethic

What we offer:
• Full-time position
• $25–$30/hour depending on experience
• Year-round work
• Opportunities to work at the shop when weather shuts down field work
• Well-maintained equipment
• A small team where everyone is expected to pull their weight and take pride in what we do

Residential dirt work experience is required.

If you’re the kind of operator who understands that being good at this job means more than sitting in a machine, we’d like to talk.

BYE BYE BYE 👋🏻🤍

End of an era at Dirt Lab.

The E60 officially left the lineup today, which means the last of the white iron is gone.

And now it’s official…

Nothing but Deere in the Dirt Lab lineup. 🦌

Every now and then, we get the chance to step away from our normal day-to-day work and be part of something a little extra special.

Over the last few days, we had the privilege of coming alongside some pretty great people as they take a big step toward bringing their own dream to life. Watching this project go from the beginning stages to what it is now has been pretty dang cool, and getting to play even a small part in their story made this one mean a little more.

We can’t wait to see where they take it from here. ❤️

Sometimes the best projects aren’t just about moving dirt. They’re about helping good people build something they’ve been dreaming about. Living Stones Ranges & Training

What sound does construction equipment make?

The answers were… creative. 😂

Happy 4th of July and happy 250th birthday, America. 🇺🇸

We are grateful for the men and women who have defended our freedom throughout our nation’s history and continue to do so today.

The best way we can honor their sacrifice is by living lives marked by integrity, kindness, and mutual respect for one another, even when we don’t agree. Freedom is a gift, and how we choose to use it matters.

From our Dirt Lab family to yours, we wish you a safe and meaningful Independence Day.

God bless America. 🇺🇸

To the dads with tired backs, dirty hands, and alarm clocks that go off way too early.

The ones who miss a little sleep so their families can sleep a little easier.

The ones who come home covered in dust, mud, grease, or sweat and still find the energy to throw a ball, fix a toy, or listen to a story about their kid’s day.

The late nights. The early mornings. The sore muscles. The sacrifices nobody sees.

Today, we celebrate the blue-collar dads who build more than roads, houses, and job sites. You build families, futures, and memories that last a lifetime.

Happy Father’s Day to the men who show up, work hard, and do it all over again tomorrow.

Every blue-collar wife knows this look.

It’s the face of someone who was told, “I just need you for a minute.”

A minute turned into three hours.
The tank top wasn’t part of the plan.
The shoes are ruined.
The sunscreen is sitting at home.

The storms are starting to roll in, and at this point I’m secretly hoping for a gentle zap so I can clock out early.

But the sprinkler heads survived, Matt didn’t hit any of them, and the backyard got graded, so I guess we’ll call it a successful day.

Anybody else married to someone whose “real quick” takes half a workday?

Some people see noise, mud, and confusion. We see productivity… and a fuel bill that’s gonna hurt later. 🤝😂
