2025 Umpqua Valley Showcase of Homes: Event Highlights and Winners
Thank You to Attendees and Sponsors
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the 2025 Umpqua Valley Showcase of Homes this past weekend. Your presence and enthusiasm helped make the event a remarkable success. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the home, landscaping, and accessory building sponsors for generously opening their locations and contributing to this year’s Showcase.
Award Winners
Congratulations are in order for the outstanding participants whose exceptional work was recognized by attendees:
• Scott Powell with Powell Plastering achieved a unanimous victory at the Heydon Rd. location, taking first place in three categories: Favorite Kitchen, Favorite Bath, and People’s Choice.
• Nick Kennaday with Kennaday Builders, LLC tied with Powell Plastering for first place in the Favorite Landscaping/Outdoor Feature category at the Lone Rock location.
• Kennaday Builders, LLC also earned second place at the NW Excello location for Favorite Kitchen, Favorite Bath, and People’s Choice.
• Elite Landscaping Services was awarded second place for Favorite Landscape at their Serengeti location.
Noteworthy Features and Feedback
Many attendees remarked on the uniqueness of Josh Weaver, JTW Construction's accessory building on Strickland Canyon Rd, describing it as a one-of-a-kind structure. Feedback from the event highlighted the enjoyment guests experienced while touring both landscape and accessory buildings, a feature new to this year's Showcase.

We would also like to congratulate Tom Leavitt for being selected as our passport winner for the wine tour, generously sponsored by Experience Umpqua.

We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the Umpqua Valley Showcase of Homes and are already looking forward to next year’s event. Thank you once again to everyone who made this gathering memorable.

We had an amazing first day today and got to connect with a lot of people in the community. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Showcase of Homes. We want to say A BIG THANK YOU to our volunteers who Have sacrificed their own time to supporting us as well! For without you we couldn’t do this!! If you missed the first day, there’s still one more day. Come out tomorrow from 10-4 and see all these beautiful locations!
