Meet Joaquin! Field Operations Manager at GroundsPRO

When we asked him what Opportunity means, he shared his own journey.

Opportunity is the newest value at Visterra, and we couldn’t have asked for a better example of it. Thank you, Joaquin, for everything you do! 💚

🏆 Two Golds and a Silver! 🏆

Our Oberson's Commercial Landscaping and Construction team just took home three NALP Awards of Excellence for projects across Cincinnati:

🥇 Transformation of Elm St. Plaza: an entire city block landscaped in five months, with zero street closures

🥇 University of Cincinnati Bearcat Monument Relocation

🥈 Old Chemistry Building Rehabilitation, including a rooftop garden installed above an occupied building

Huge congratulations to Project Manager Michael Bodner, Project Superintendent Angel Velasco, and the whole Oberson’s crew. They’ll be honored at NALP’s ELEVATE conference in Tampa on Nov. 9.

Swipe to see the progress ➡️

Oberson’s transformed nearly an entire block in the heart of Cincinnati into the new Elm Street Plaza.

With no street closures allowed, our team carefully planned every delivery, equipment move, and crew arrival to keep downtown moving while the work went on.

🌱 3,600+ cubic yards of engineered planting soil

🌳 Trees, shrubs, perennials, and bulbs built to thrive in an urban setting

🎨 Lawn, turf, irrigation, public art, and flexible gathering spaces

Now connected to Cincinnati’s renovated convention center, the plaza is home to festivals, a seasonal ice rink, and community events all year long.

Proud of the Oberson’s team for bringing this one to life! 👏

Huddle. Stretch. Flex. Hydrate. Go!

This is how our crews start every single day, because safety starts with us. 🦺

Shoutout to the GroundsPRO | Commercial Landscaping and the obersonsco team for showing us how it’s done.

This and every October, we pay tribute to those who fought the ultimate fight against breast cancer, and those who detected early and continue to fight. Thanks to accelerated awareness for the importance of early cancer detection, more folks are calling themselves survivors, and more often than not, they are people within our family or social circles. So let's give it up for them and their courage, as well as to those who are sadly no longer with us.
