This bathroom received a refresh in 2026, bringing in more light with selections, a cleaner look, and solutions to a few existing issues. The updates included a new vanity, flooring, composite shower surround, and plumbing fixtures, along with new hardware, a refreshed ceiling, and fresh paint on the walls.

To complete the transformation, we moved away from the traditional ceramic accessories and incorporated brushed nickel finishes for a more cohesive, modern look.

Sometimes, a few thoughtful updates can make a big difference in the look, feel, and functionality of a space!

* Vanity: Bertch Cabinets with a Riverside door style and a Loft finish.
* Hardware: Berenson Hardware Metro Brushed Nickel Pulls

From 1969 to today — without changing the footprint!

Our goal with this kitchen remodel was to bring this 1969 kitchen into the present day while working within the home’s existing layout.

The project included updated electrical and insulation, along with rerouting the kitchen exhaust vent through the three-season porch and to the exterior of the home. The homeowners chose to keep the existing soffits, which allowed us to accommodate the vent routing as well as additional plumbing serving the upstairs bathrooms.

The result? A kitchen that feels completely refreshed while still respecting the character and structure of the home.

Highlights of the remodel:
• New semi-custom Bertch Cabinets in Grove finish with Hutton style doors.
• Added buffet/café area for additional function and storage
• Contemporary Advantage One Berenson Hardware pulls in Ch*****ne finish.
• Corian Quartz Beige Royal countertops
• Corian Beige Royale Full-height quartz backsplash
• Under-cabinet lighting
• Interior cabinet lighting
• Recessed ceiling lighting
• Delta Faucet Lelan Single-Handle Pull-Down
• Karran Beautiful Matrix Double Bowl workstation sink
• Improved kitchen ventilation
• Benjamin Moore paint - White Dove
• Paramount Flooring Rigid Core LVT Nazare Cliff
• Rav-a-Rev-A-Shelf Adjustable Spice Rack with a wood cutlery tray

Every detail was thoughtfully considered to make this kitchen more functional, better lit, and beautifully suited for everyday living, all without changing the original footprint.

Every home has a story, and this 1907 Minneapolis home had over a century's worth to tell.

Over the years, multiple additions and renovations left the kitchen with five layers of flooring hiding beneath the surface. We took the space all the way down to the studs to create a fresh start.

With updated electrical and plumbing, the removal of outdated soffits, and a completely redesigned layout, we transformed this kitchen into a beautiful, functional space. The finished remodel features:
✨ Cabinets JSI Cabinetry with a Dover door style, Maple, and White finish.
✨ Rev-A-Shelf 3" base spice pullout
✨ Richelieu Hardware Matte Black K***s
✨ Quartz countertops Casablanca 3cm
✨ A stylish tile backsplash The Tile Shop Fire Earth Stoneware Indigo Spruce Ceramic 2 x 10 tile
✨ A new Elite 32" undermount 16g Single Bowl Sink and fixtures
✨ Durable LVT flooring
✨ Benjamin Moore OC-17 White Dove paint to tie everything together

The result is a kitchen that honors the character of this historic home while providing the modern functionality today's homeowners need.

A great visit to StarMark cabinet manufacturing facility in South Dakota and a wonderful learning experience. Seeing how the cabinets are made from start to finish gave our designers a better appreciation for the craftsmanship and attention to details that goes into every home. The training also supported in better understanding the product, new products, modifications we use. Which make our designers more confident when working with customers needs and wants in making the space they envisioned a true reality.
