30 minute video (or phone) chat with designer
Full-color scaled plan of project area

Complete list of plants and materials (including botanical name, common name, size and quantity)
Materials palette (including images and names of each item)
Detailed installation and care instructions
One round of design revisions

Now comes the fun part: seeing your landscape come to life! Depending on the time of year and the scope of your project, your installation could be scheduled for 1-3 months from the time you’ve signed off on your final design. We’ll make sure you’re updated and informed about expected timelines along the way.

Once installation time arrives, you can feel confident that we’ll take care of every last detail efficiently and responsibly. We use only the most sustainable landscaping practices and materials, and we work only with professional, trusted employees and subcontractors, to ease our impact on both your environment and your peace of mind.

After installation is complete, we can also provide our customized maintenance programs with our 90-day plant replacement plan.*

Hyde Park Adaptable Landscape


When this customer bought her home a large dying tree had wrecked havoc on the existing landscape, and she was ready to start over. She wanted to create a space that was not only appealing, but provided room for her grandson to play.

In the front, we used a combination of street side plantings and flagstone landings add curb appeal and accessibility. In the back, play spaces are integrated within an array of nectar-rich plantings to attract hummingbirds and butterflies. This encourages play in an area that would otherwise serve as just a path from the front yard to the back. A recycled tire dragon greats you as you make your way to the back yard, while a cedar climbing wall serves double duty by also screening the AC unit from view. Another double duty solution was the screening added to the stairs; this provides discrete storage as well as a garden space for herbs.

Design

he Design phase is the heart and soul of our process. Incorporating our years of well-rounded landscape expertise and a healthy dose of creativity, we design a landscape based on your unique property and your vision, personal style, and goals.

As we begin this phase, we welcome your photos, links, Pinterest boards, and Houzz ideabooks—even if they’re all over the place or you’re not sure what your style is. Trust us: nerding out over design ideas is one of our favorite things to do.

And turning them all into a cohesive, sustainable landscape design involves more than just a simple layout sketch.

Through the course of the design process, every last detail will be expertly planned by one of our designers in a technical landscape design. Depending on the scope of your project, the final design will include:

A professional landscape design blueprint
Specific materials, including samples as needed
Specific plants, including photos and planting information
Garden accessory photos
Detailed design notes
Line-by-line cost estimates

In our Design Presentation meeting, we’ll talk through every element and incorporate your feedback and changes before asking you to sign off on the final design.

Beginning with a complimentary one-hour consultation at your home or other landscape site, our process continues with: Design, Installation and Maintenance.

We start by making a complimentary visit to your home or other landscape site.* We’ll spend about an hour walking through your landscape, getting to know you, and learning more about what you’re looking for.

Into Mid-Century modern style and picture yourself hosting craft cocktail hours on your deck, but don’t have much space?
Need a low-maintenance landscape for your growing family, while keeping the yard kid-friendly?
Remodeling your house and need to breathe new life into your landscape too?
Just finally ready to fix up the yard and make all the neighbors jealous?

With a good feel for your property and a clear understanding of what you envision for your ideal landscape, we can start the process to transform your ideas into a beautiful, sustainable design.

While our full-service process offers the best value for your investment, each phase is billed separately and can be offered a la carte, depending on your needs.

*Outside Austin city limits, a small fee may apply. A cancellation fee of $50 will be charged for any appointments cancelled without appropriate notice and/or client no-shows.
