Congratulations to the City of College Station on the Grand Opening of Station No. 7!
On September 11, the 25th anniversary of 9/11, College Station officially opened the doors of its new Fire Station No. 7, honoring the memory of the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day, including the 343 firefighters who gave everything to save others.
We are so honored to be a part of this fantastic project! This state-of-the-art, 18,200-square-foot station will house 24 firefighters, feature four drive-thru bays, and serve the fast-growing south side of College Station for decades to come. The $18 million project, funded by the 2022 bond election, came in under budget and ahead of schedule, a true testament to great planning and teamwork.
"This station is not going to have just impact on this part of town. It will have ripple effects throughout the entire city of College Station." – Fire Chief Richard Mann
A huge thank you to:
- Fire Chief Richard Mann and the entire College Station Fire Department for their vision and service
- The City of College Station for investing in the safety and growth of our community
- Martinez Architects for helping bring this incredible facility to life
Congratulations to everyone involved. This station will serve College Station families for generations to come! 🇺🇸🧯
