River life is hard. I planted field corners I couldn't water. I knew it was a big risk but the forecast was perfect calling for 3 days of steady light rain ensuring a good start, and after that I have it made. 3 days later I had less than a tenth of rain and I was worried about losing the crop.

Well I stayed up praying and worrying all night and it finally worked! Near 4" in a few hours this morning. Next time I'ma say a prayer and go to sleep. I worried up a heck of a storm! Now let's clean this mess up and pull the pump off the river before it's too late.
