Having to stop in the middle of a project to address a secondary issue is never fun. This client was ready to go for hardwood and we noticed there was significant settling and sinkage of their 1st and second floor. Older houses hold many surprises but in order to get a long lasting product out of any renovation, settling needs to be addressed. Raising the floors took 2 weeks to do right but will insure all the final finishes on both floors maintain their integrity for years to come.
