A few months ago I seen a very familiar sawmill on Facebook for sale. I immediately sent a message to the poster asking why was going on she informed me a good friend was sick and wasn't going to be able to any milling any time soon. If I had the money I would've bought that mill that day. James was sick stage 4 Colin cancer. Yesterday on the way home I was on American Tree Service page and some pictures of this huge walnut log James milled poped up so I sent him a message asking how he was doing. Then I got on his page and he didn't make it. Passed this passed Monday. James was a huge walnut dealer,he had the biggest logs around. He hunted walnut like nobody else. He was just a good ass person, always smiling and wheeling and dealing in logs and slabs. We made several trips over the last 3-4 years to buy logs and slabs from him. It was always a fun trip. He would always say there's more room you want a few more? She'll make the trip! Some of the heaviest loads I've hauled was from him. Buddy I hope you're up there hunting them once in a life time logs. Every time I mill a walnut I will think of you. I hope you're at ease and no longer suffering. Life is short, love the one's that are around you and cherish every day
