One of the most common questions homeowners ask is, "What kind of warranty comes with my new roof?"

The answer depends on the roofing system and the contractor you choose. In general, there are three main types of roof warranties:

1. Manufacturer's Material Warranty
This covers defects in the roofing materials themselves, such as shingles or other roofing components.

2. Workmanship Warranty
This is provided by the roofing contractor and covers issues related to your roof's installation.

3. Enhanced or System Warranty
These warranties are often available through certified contractors and can provide additional protection by covering both materials and workmanship.

When you're comparing roofing estimates, it's important to look beyond the price. A good warranty can make a big difference in protecting your investment for years to come.

We believe that homeowners should understand exactly what their warranty covers before making a decision. Our team is always happy to answer questions and help you find the roofing solution that's right for your home.

Arkansas summers can be tough on your roof. Here are five ways to help protect your home from extreme heat:

✔ Check for curling or cracked shingles: Prolonged UV exposure can dry out shingles, causing them to crack, curl, or lose protective granules.

✔ Inspect your attic ventilation:
Poor airflow traps heat in your attic, increasing cooling costs and accelerating roof deterioration.

✔ Look for signs of heat damage:
Watch for blistering, warped roofing materials, or discoloration that may indicate excessive heat stress.

✔ Clear debris from the roof surface:
Leaves and branches can trap heat and moisture against roofing materials, shortening their lifespan.

✔ Schedule a pro inspection this summer: Identifying heat-related wear early may help prevent costly repairs and extend the life of your roof.

A well-maintained roof doesn’t just protect your home. It helps improve energy efficiency and keeps your family more comfortable during the hottest months of the year. Call our team today to schedule your inspection!

Leaves, twigs, and debris can quickly clog your gutters, leading to water damage, roof issues, and foundation problems. Here’s the safest and most effective way to keep them flowing properly:

✅ Start with Safety First
Use a sturdy ladder on level ground and have someone nearby if possible. Wear gloves and eye protection.

✅ Remove Debris by Hand
Work from the downspout outward, scooping out leaves and debris into a bucket or tarp below.

✅ Flush with a Garden Hose
After clearing debris, run water through the gutters to check for proper drainage and identify any blockages in the downspouts.

✅ Inspect for Damage
Look for loose fasteners, sagging sections, leaks, or separated joints while you’re up there.

✅ Clean Twice a Year
Most homes benefit from gutter cleaning in the spring and fall, especially if trees are nearby.

💡 Pro Tip: Avoid pressure washers—they can damage gutters and force water under shingles. A standard garden hose provides plenty of cleaning power without risking your roofing system.

BRS Tip: Clean gutters help protect your roof, siding, foundation, and landscaping. A little maintenance today can prevent costly repairs tomorrow!

How do you know if I need a roof repair or a full roof replacement?

The answer depends on several factors, including the age of your roof, the extent of the damage, and whether problems are isolated or widespread.

A repair may be the best option if:
✔️ Damage is limited to a small area
✔️ A few shingles are missing or damaged
✔️ The roof is relatively new
✔️ There are no major structural concerns

A replacement may be the better investment if:
✔️ Your roof is nearing the end of its lifespan
✔️ Storm damage affects large sections of the roof
✔️ You have recurring leaks or repairs
✔️ Shingles are curling, cracking, or losing granules across the roof

We perform a full inspection and provide honest recommendations so you can make the best decision for your home and budget. Call today to chat with our team!

Have you ever noticed what looks like coarse black sand collecting in your gutters?

Those are often granules from asphalt shingles. Over time, weather and normal wear can cause shingles to shed some of their protective granules.

A small amount is normal, but excessive granule loss can lead to:

✔ Clogged gutters and downspouts
✔ Reduced roof protection
✔ Faster shingle deterioration
✔ Potential water drainage issues

If you're seeing a lot of granules piling up, it may be a good time to have your roof looked at before small issues become bigger ones. Give our team a call!
