Today I had the opportunity to speak at the SNCA Concrete Expo 2026. I was once given some great advice from a former boss (Corey Zollinger) about crafting a good story in your presentations. I tried an entirely different approach and crafted what I thought was a good story. The presentation was very well received. I know I can make it better but for a first run through, I can honestly say I was very happy with the outcome.

Ready for the SNCA Concrete Expo. Thrilled to not only be an exhibitor for this event, but I feel very privileged to be a speaker as well. ICF is my passion and I have the opportunity to share about the benefits of ICF.

I am joined by my lovely wife Grace Smith. Being able to work with her and share my passion with her support is a real treat.

We have 7 seats left for this free ICF Workshop this Friday September 18th at 8am in Rocklin, CA. Our speaker line up is impressive. Materials in the AM sessions, followed by design and construction in the mid morning. The afternoon is on Insurance and Home Mortgage, and we close with Fire Stations, Police Stations, and Schools.

Climate disasters are changing the way we need to think about building.

California is in the middle of a housing shortage crisis. The wildfires continue to make that crisis even worse. Why are we building and putting fuel in the path of a future fire? When will we learn and choose materials that can withstand and survive these disasters? When we build homes that are generational due to their durability, we help ensure progress in our battle to address this crisis.

Building with ICF is a path forward.
