NOW HIRING: Landscape Construction Estimator & Project Coordinator
Stableroot Landscape Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Estimator & Project Coordinator to support our growing landscape construction business throughout the Sacramento region.
We specialize in complete backyard construction for new construction homes and backyard remodels, including pavers, concrete, retaining walls, water features, irrigation, lighting, and outdoor living spaces.
This role focuses on project estimating, quantity takeoffs, site measurements, estimate preparation, client communication, and project tracking. The ideal candidate enjoys both field and office work and is comfortable helping guide projects from the initial consultation through the start of construction.
Responsibilities:
• Meet with clients and gather project information during site visits
• Measure project areas and perform quantity calculations
• Prepare estimates and proposals
• Create simple scaled site plans and HOA drawings
• Material takeoffs and planning
• Track projects and maintain organized project records
• Coordinate communication throughout the estimating process
• Help ensure a smooth transition from estimate to construction.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in construction estimating, project coordination, drafting, landscape construction, or related fields
• Ability to perform measurements and quantity calculations
• Experience reading plans and preparing takeoffs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable learning software and new systems
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Design experience is helpful but not required. Construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, project coordination, and the ability to create scaled drawings are more important for this role.
