FINAL RESULTS!! Abalone shell inlays on the handles. Front and back of both. Only with the help of family was I able to accomplish this. From my brother Nolen Ferguson with the idea to Ellie Kinley with all the measurements and traditional picture ideas. This project was truly special. Total props to the original artists artwork.....I tried to not copy most of it.... lots of hand drawn variations... this project was very much humbling. Thank you to all.

Went WAY outside my comfort zone.....but, its coming together way better than I expected. Something special for my wife.....who has allowed me to get sideways and find this creative side I never knew I had. Fortunately I'm good at math and the "numbers" makes things make sense. Not finished yet. But, getting close. I trace things....but, make changes so as to not copy the original artists. They are brilliant in their drawings. Thank you.
Also thank you my brother, Nolen Ferguson, for the idea....and Ellie Kinley for all the pics and measurements.
