You never know who you will meet during a pipe inspection.

Our Water Flood & Drainage team has encountered everything from frogs and crawfish to raccoons while inspecting underground infrastructure. Beyond the unexpected wildlife, these inspections help identify issues early, allowing agencies to make informed decisions about maintaining and improving vital community infrastructure.

Sometimes it is a frog. Sometimes it is a problem. Either way, it tells us something important. Wood Rodgers is proud to help communities understand, manage, and improve the systems beneath their streets.

Seven years ago, Wood Rodgers launched STEAM Team as a way to support our communities through sponsorships, donations, volunteerism, and a shared commitment to STEAM education.

This year, our Reno STEAM Team decided to put a new spin on giving back. During our annual Client Appreciation Party, we invited our clients and industry partners to help determine where our next charitable donations would be directed.

Attendees voted among three organizations that are especially meaningful to our team, and we're proud to announce the results:

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Reno Client Appreciation Party!

This year's theme, Wood Rodgers Rockin' Diner, brought a taste of the 1950s to an evening dedicated to celebrating the clients and industry partners who make our work possible. From great food and drinks to meaningful conversations and plenty of fun, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect and show our appreciation for the relationships that continue to drive successful projects across our communities.

We are thankful for your partnership and look forward to many more years of working together.

Our Roseville office recently held a STEAM Team Spin, a fun tradition where we recognize employee anniversaries with the chance to spin for cash prizes. A few times each year, our larger offices match those winnings and donate the same amount to local nonprofits.

For this spin, Wood Rodgers donated $2,500 to Blue Line Arts and $2,500 to Sight Word Busters.

We are grateful for the important work these organizations do to foster creativity, literacy, and lifelong learning in our community. Thank you for making a difference every day!
