It's a full garden change from start to finish. If you have a garden that is a blank canvas, or an old disused space that was made for someone else's lifestyle and someone else's taste, a full scale design would probably be right for you. A garden that is in need of full redesign would include redesign of the hard scaping (planting beds, patios, walks etc) and/or as well as a fresh take on the green scaping (trees, shrubs, vegetables and flowers). Our full scale design service would include detailed plans. If you desire we are also happy to include help choosing your contractor and oversight of the installation to ensure from start to finish you are getting the garden you want. These are the situations that the Garden Tutors specialize in. Instead of offering a full set of drawing plans, completely redesigning the garden, Garden Tutors offers small 2 hour on-site consultations with one of our designers. We will come to your house, discuss your problem areas with you, and present real-world, workable solutions, without requiring the hassle or expense of a full redesign. On-site Consultations are $75.00 per hour with a two hour minimum. Personal Shopping
After a design consultation, we can also meet with you at your favorite garden centers as a personal shopping consultant. Our designers can help you to select the best plants for your garden, pick out the best garden accents, and find the tools you need to fill out your toolkit. Personal Shopping sessions are $75.00 per hour with a two hour minimum. Tutoring Sessions
If you need a bit more hands-on help, we can also help you accomplish your garden projects. While working side-by-side with our consultants, you can learn natural pruning techniques (limited to trees and shrubs under 12 feet tall), proper seasonal maintenance, or the correct way to plant bulb and annual beds. Tutoring sessions are $75.00 per hour with a two hour minimum. House Calls
