Trust the process this project started 1/24/25

Steps:
1. Mow low, scalp the lawn it’s ok 👌
2. Remove thatch. Use a thatch rake. We want to remove as much as possible ✔️.
3. Aerate entire lawn. I did 4 passes!
4. Remove plugs left over from aeration process. Lazy people will say leave it..
5. Now we overseed with high quality fescue seed. All those seeds will fall into the aerated holes we created. Creating deep root system for new grass.
6. Water 💦 the lawn now keep it moist so the new seed can germinate. Cooler season January/February is the best time to overseed requiring minimum water usage since it’s cool enough that the water won’t evaporate.
7. Stay off the lawn ( pretty easy to do)
8. Once seeds have begun to sprout 🌱 we can start adding fertilizer this is about week number 6.
9. Alright it’s Now week 8 and spring is officially here. Grass is looking deep green and thick.. time for our first spring mow.
