Another generator, this one was portable way less stress only a couple things that can go wrong with them. This one sat for a couple years with fuel in it. A new carburetor, filters, fuel lines, fresh fuel with stabilizer, oil change, and spark plug. Bled the fuel line, started on the first pull. Those cheap carbs get gunked up from fuel sitting in them, with these you should shut the fuel off and let them run out. Always use rec fuel, and marine sta-bil to ensure long life of the components, a touch of fogging oil into the spark plug hole before, and after extended storage will keep the cylinder clean and lubricated.

20+ year old 7KW baby generator, sitting dormant for 10 years, thought it was worn out and close to retirement, but a quick nip/tuck, oil change, filter swap, new battery, and gas purge later, it's back to life, cranking out 251V with no load, and the transfer switch was all like "SH***T!! The babys awake and hollerin" switching over in 4 seconds!!

Here's a prime example of why you should hire a licensed electrician and not some self proclaimed "jack of all trades handyman" to do even the basic of tasks. No power to the fan and two outlets in the bedroom was the call. Two people were in before me and couldn't figure it out. I found one of the worst splice jobs I've seen in years. This was a fire waiting to happen, and the reversed polarity going to the fan would've eventually shocked somebody. Apparently they missed the color matching day of kindergarten...

Tom is ecstatic about upgrading his basement lighting from standard white sockets to fourteen modern recessed LED can lights, controlled with smart switches. Sixteen standard duplex, USB, and nightlighted plugs are installed on two 20A circuits for enhanced functionality and convenience. The bathroom exhaust fan has been upgraded to a high-performance model with higher CFM, Bluetooth connectivity, humidity and motion sensors, nightlight, and color-changing control options.

What a year its been, and still 4 months to go. We've had a lot of firsts, happy customers and green stickers the first time the inspector has been around. So many good memories made and new customers that have had bad experiences with other electricians, and so called "handymen". The best part of doing what we do is helping people, hands down. It's one of the main reasons I became an electrician, that and its basically magic, controlled chaos from spinning two rocks around each other. I look forward with excited optimism to the years to come and challenges that we can learn and grow from. I hope everyone else has had a great summer and I wish you all the best in whatever endeavors that come your way. Adding some outdoor lights can totally change how your house looks at night, seriously! Think about how much better your curb appeal will be with some cool soffit lighting and well-placed floodlights. It's also way safer when you can actually see where you're going, especially when it's dark outside. Don't be stuck fumbling around in the dark when you're trying to get groceries, kids, and everything else life throws at you out of the car! Consider adding some outdoor lighting for an immediate improvement.
