We love building science! This photo is of a house we recent spray foamed with closed cell spray foam, photo 1 around the attic access shows how cold the ceiling is with 2" R-14 closed cell spray foam and 13" R-36 fiberglass to achive code. Customer made a temporary attic access with Osb wood and 2" polystyrene foam. We have over a 30 degree temperature difference because it's improperly insulated. Picture 2 just shows how the attic is on a normal Minnesota summer day. Outside temps were 70. Roof temperature was 168° while the attic was still seeing 122° air temps. We are happy with a black metal building still maintaining 60° inside with no Hvac. That's a 60° difference from the attic!

Its not all about insulation, I as a small business owner I get very limited personal time with each year having more growth and working with so many new and great customers and contractors. Every year i plant approximately 2,000 trees for habitat. A small way to give back! A nice reset before work gets busy during the summer.

Happy to get this emergency job spray foamed! With Closed cell spray foam we were able to seal up the roof properly.

Roof tear off season is here! The one and only way to fix energy loss and ice dams. Remove the old insulation and replace it with Closed cell spray foam that achieves a seamless air and v***r barrier.
