Yesterday, March 5th,at around 3:38pm, Tuscola 911 received several reports of an erratic driver on Sheridan Rd. Deputies responded to the area to find that the suspect vehicle had hit another vehicle on Sheridan Rd near Brown road and both vehicles were in the ditch. Preliminary investigation showed the erratic driver of the White Ford Explorer Sport trak , a 30 year old female from Flint , was responsible for the crash. Both drivers were slightly injured . Alcohol and possibly drugs appear to be a factor in the crash. The information is being forwarded to the prosecutors office for review and charges.

The Correct Way To Thaw Your Pipes
January 3, 2018
* Keep the faucet open. As you treat the frozen pipe and the frozen area begins to melt, water will begin to flow through the frozen area. Running water through the pipe will help melt ice in the pipe.

* Apply heat to the section of pipe using an electric heating pad wrapped around the pipe, an electric hair dryer, a portable space heater (kept away from flammable materials), or by wrapping pipes with towels soaked in hot water. Do not use a blowtorch, kerosene or propane heater, charcoal stove, or other open flame devices.
* Apply heat until full water pressure is restored. If you are unable to locate the frozen area, if the frozen area is not accessible, or if you can not thaw the pipe, call a licensed plumber.

Who likes ice cream ;) We never know what were going to get called out to on a day to day basis... at least this one has a sweet smell to it so it could be a lot worse ! Great job
