For the past 20+ years we have been doing free estimates for all of our customers, as we would like to still try and accommodate this. It is getting very hard when you book the job and cancel last minute. We would like to address some concerns that we currently have. A lot goes into making sure our prices is not only competitive, but also flexible to the customers needs, which involves getting material quotes, keeping up with labor rates as well as travel etc. A couple things we have concerns with. Number 1, is booking us for your needs, and cancelation shortly after. As now we have made time in our schedule to meet your needs. This is why we collect a small deposit, to not only hold your slot in our busy time line but to also hold accountable that your serious about getting the job done. Number 2, getting many estimates, then using our numbers to rate shop your project, we find that to be somewhat unethical. While we understand getting the best price, rest assured our rates are very competitive, and probably a lot lower then most as we are a family owned and smaller company. Which entails less overhead and expenses then the other guys. For the time being we will still offer free estimates but if things continue we will have to implement a fee for estimates, which will come off the price of your job if you choose to move forward.
