It’s that time! Communication is key in this business. As a lawn maintenance owner there comes times when you have to make decisions on when to and not to mow a lawn with the severe drought we are in.

If a lawn is mowed when it is extremely dry and in search of lots of moisture it is best to stay off or a mower can “streak” a lawn. It’s best to stay off to prevent these issues. A lot of times the irrigation is just not enough to keep up with the needs of the lawn in these situations.

That’s when communication to the customer is extremely important. Speak with your customers. Advise them to turn the irrigation on as much as possible and inform them of the decisions we have to make in order to keep the lawn looking plush and healthy.

A lot of companies do not have this knowledge and I believe knowing these things is key to keeping customers happy. Please make sure, not to hire just any small company. Slick Cuts Lawn Care communicates personally with all customers and keeps them informed of these situations. Please call for our professional services. We prefer quality not quantity.

Slick Cuts does it all. 7 days a week! No more flooding in this yard. Will finish this one up in the morning. Took out the hill in the driveway and back filled it with asphalt millings with a slope out to the drainage ditches.
