"Why are you removing my baseboards?"
It's one of the most common questions we get during a water damage mitigation project.
The reason is simple: baseboards sit right where water likes to collect after a leak, pipe break, or flood. While the floor may appear dry, moisture can become trapped behind the baseboards and inside the wall cavity, creating the perfect environment for microbial growth. Removing the baseboards allows us to properly inspect, dry, and treat the affected areas to help prevent hidden damage from turning into a much larger and more costly problem down the road.
This is what thorough water damage mitigation looks like, addressing what's happening behind the scenes, not just what you can see.
If you've experienced water damage, musty odors, or suspect hidden moisture in your home or business, don't wait for the damage to spread.
