Open today through Sunday 8:00 a.m. until dark!

I'm running a bit behind after spending all day yesterday doing the Fall change over. I don't have any seed Garlic cleaned and out there at the moment. Need to dig Potatoes too, but it might not happen with this heat to be honest. We'll see. If you're wanting either of those items probably best to wait until tomorrow. Still stocked up on lots of other great stuff! There are canners and $10 boxes of heirloom tomatoes!

"Praying" for Fall ๐Ÿ˜‚ Open Weds-Sun 8 AM until dark.

Also this sweet boy kitty "Elway" aka "El" is still available. He's been in for his first round of shots and is getting neutered in a couple weeks. I'm taking care of all of it if you just give him a loving indoor home. He is super sweet, lets you hold/handle him, great with my dogs etc.

First off, I have decided I am also going to close on Tuesdays for the rest of the season. Sorry to keep pivoting but that's how it goes as a solo business owner who does everything themself. I have a lot of neglected things right now that I need to take care of and it is not busy enough early in the week to justify being open with school back in session etc.

I do have some bulk items available for online ordering. You will see me offering different items fairly regularly as we get later in the season. I also know a lot of you live a ways away and don't want to make the drive unless you're guaranteed to get what you're looking for. Need to be picked up within the next day or two. Send a message. First come first served. I do have multiples of these items.

Peck Jalapeno - $15 (perfect for making cowboy candy)
Peck Hatch Chile - $10
Peck Shish*to Pepper - $15 (great pickled ala pepperoncini)
Peck Carmen Sweet Red Pepper - $10
Peck Green Pepper - $10
Seed Garlic - $15 / LB
Peck Small Garlic - $60 (7 + lb. Great for processing into powder, canning etc)

These are the only items I'm offering at the moment. If I didn't list it sorry I don't have it available. If you are wanting canning Tomatoes reserved you're going to have to direct message me, let me know how much you want in 20 lb increments and then be on call to pick them up as I have them available. I have quite a few reservations at the moment and also need to supply my stand but I can probably have them for you eventually.

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by this weekend. Reminder I am now closed on Mondays. If there is anyone out there dealing with food insecurity who would like a bag of free produce send me a message. No questions asked.

I will also start offering some bulk items for sale online starting this week. It's going to be a bit random based on things I have an excess of etc... so keep your eyes peeled. I will list items for sale randomly here as I have them available starting tomorrow.

Update : Sold out. If you are still wanting bulk Green Beans or Corn send me a message and I will do my best to get for you at some point.

I've got some half bushel boxes of Green Beans available for $40 and 5 dozen bags of Peaches and Cream Sweet Corn for $30. Amish grown. The Sweet Corn has a bit of worm damage on the tips but it's still great Corn especially for processing. Better than being sprayed!

I'll also have quarts of homegrown beyond organic Green Beans available this weekend for $5 if you prefer. No bulk on these though.

Send a message if you want them.

Open until dark.

With school back in session it's like clockwork every year, business starts to slowly drop off for the fresh produce. Some items like canning tomatoes still sell well but other items I literally sold nothing all week. It's kind of a tough predicament because I want the stand well stocked when people come but I can't lose produce keeping it stocked up all week when it doesn't sell.

I think the best plan for me is to have the stand well stocked on the weekends and go a little lighter during the week. I'll fill the gap by offering direct bulk orders and reservations on the more perishable stuff like peppers, tomatoes etc. It's a bit of extra work to coordinate but the surefire sale is better than letting produce sit out that doesn't sell.

So starting next week I'll be offering specific items for sale in bulk purchases online.

Just put out the first Okra of the year. Could have been picking this a while ago but it makes me really itchy so I put it off LOL It doesn't help that the plants are growing like a jungle as you can see in the picture. If you buy it I'll put up with the itchiness.

I've also started harvesting Winter Squash. Carrots, Beets and Fall planting has rebounded. Don't love the highs in the mid-90s this weekend again though. Ugh.

If you bought starter plants from me and they got eaten by rabbits and pests I feel for you. It happened to me as well. Stick with it though. Mine have mostly rebounded. After they get eaten down heavily they produce compounds that deter them from getting eaten again. Interestingly only the transplants get eaten. Everything I direct seeded is untouched.
