✨ What a difference a remodel can make! 🌟

This primary bathroom went from a traditional, dated space to a bright, fresh and beautifully updated retreat. 🛁

We love how the new light-toned cabinetry, clean countertops, statement mirrors and updated lighting work together to completely transform the space. 💡 The gorgeous porcelain floor tiles, quartz vanity top and tub surround add just the right amount of texture while keeping the room feeling light and airy. ☁️🩵

Most importantly, we’ve had the pleasure of working with some wonderful new clients on this project. 👋 They have been an absolute joy to work with, and we’re so grateful they trusted us with their home and allowed us to bring their vision to life. 🏡

✨ Bathroom Transformation Complete! ✨

There's something especially rewarding about working with clients who continue to trust us with their home over the years. ❤️ We've had the pleasure of completing several projects for these wonderful homeowners, and we're honored they invited us back once again!
This time, the goal was to transform their primary bathroom into a brighter, more functional, and modern retreat. 🛁✨
Here's what we accomplished:

🔹 New Decor Cabinets with added storage (supplied by Geneva Cabinet Gallery, Geneva)
🔹 LX Hausys quartz countertops (supplied by Windmill Countertops in Batavia)
🔹 New medicine cabinets for extra functionality (supplied by Ferguson Home)
🔹 Updated lighting and plumbing fixtures for a fresh, timeless look 💡(supplied by Ferguson Home)
🔹 An open glass shower that makes the room feel larger and inviting🚿 (supplied by A Mirror Image, Geneva)
🔹 A built-in shower bench for added comfort and convenience
🔹 Gorgeous new floor and shower tile to complete the space 🤍(supplied by The Tile Shop Geneva)

The result? A bright, spa-inspired bathroom that's not only beautiful but designed to make everyday living easier.

🏡 Would you ever remove a perfectly good chimney to transform a bedroom? 🤔 Well, we did just that! 💪

Late last year, a homeowner reached out to us as they were not satisfied with the layout of their primary bedroom, the lack of natural light ☀️, and the massive fireplace 🔥 they never used. They wanted a brighter primary suite with private outdoor access- a place to have their morning coffee ☕ while overlooking their beautifully landscaped yard 🌳. However, that would require us to tear down their full masonry chimney 🧱, which was a first for us.

After first relocating the A/C unit, we brought in a professional mason 👷 to remove the chimney. Upon removal, our team installed a quality Andersen sliding glass door 🚪 and some second-story windows 🪟. Our mason then replaced all of the masonry on the side of the house with salvaged stones from the chimney. 🧱

Next came the deck. 🛠️ The clients have an existing deck around the back of their home, which includes Trex Company composite decking and railing, along with Azek skirting. We collectively decided to match those materials to give the exterior of their home a cohesive feel.

The homeowners are absolutely thrilled with their new windows and deck space 😍, and we could not be happier with the results. Looking at the finished project, the exterior feels as though it was always meant to look this way. 🙌

✨📖 Once upon a time, there was a family who adored their historic bungalow home. 🏡 It was nestled in a charming northwest neighborhood 🌳 within a wonderful school district 🏫. Though their hearts ❤️ belonged to their home, they found themselves running out of space. 🚫📏 Zoning restrictions prevented them from expanding outward, and the family faced a dilemma.

💡 Determined to stay, they teamed up with a creative architect ✏️📐 and our talented team 🛠️. Together, we dreamed up an exciting solution: a "pop-top" addition ⬆️🏠 that would add an entirely new level to their beloved home.

🏗️ Throughout the transformation, the family continued living in their home- even as their roof was removed and a brand-new second story began to take shape! ✨ The new upstairs became a haven with:

🛏️ A serene primary bedroom suite
🚪 Spacious walk-in closets
🛁 A luxury “wet room” bathroom with tub, shower and skylight
🔥 A cozy fireplace surrounded with reclaimed wood
☀️ A sunlit reading nook and entertainment area
📦 Additional custom built-in storage areas

🎨 Every choice, from materials to fixtures, was made with care to ensure the addition felt as though it had always belonged. 🌟 When the dust finally settled, the home looked seamless and whole- its spirit unchanged, but its possibilities expanded.

🥰 The family fell in love with their house all over again and are grateful for the collaboration 🤝, craftsmanship 🛠️, and care ❤️ that transformed their vision into the home of their dreams. ✨🏡

One of our clients faced a challenge with her deck being unusable in the afternoons due to intense sunlight, so we designed and built a pergola to provide relief from direct sun exposure. She loves it and can now enjoy her deck at anytime of day.
