Had a strange leak in the wall. After removing the vanity and opening the wall up. We found an abandoned washing machine box with both the valves leaking constantly and running down the inside of the wall. That old box had been walled over and left with the drain open as well. We cut it all out, repiped everything. Reinstalled the vanity with new stops and drain.

Thanks to everyone who took time out to pray for our daughter Baylei while she was sick. She was discharged from Children's Hospital on Wednesday. We did have a minor set back a few hours after we came home but I'm happy to say that she did not have to go back to the hospital and seems to be getting back to her normal self. She does have a follow up appointment with her GI doctor on Monday and will go back to school on Tuesday. We appreciate everyone being so patient and understanding during our time of not knowing what was going on with her. Her official diagnosis ended up being post-viral ileus / gastroparesis which the doctors told us affects less than 20% of kids after having a virus that are in her age group.

Heads Up: Shane is still working this week so when you see him rolling through the parish please know he's still trying to get to everyone as quickly as possible. Right now we are running between the hospital in Baton Rouge everyday to be with our daughter, our kids at home, and trying to make sure we keep up a great name within our community by showing up at work. We ask for patience and understanding as it may be hard to get me on the phone to take your call as quick as I usually do. They have a team of doctors trying to figure out what's going on with her and there may be someone in our hospital room. I will return your call as soon as I'm able to do so though. Thanks for understanding 🩷💙

Commitment and dedication is something Shane has. How many plumbers do you honestly see out on the roads right now in the very early morning hours? Take a look around....no this wasn't an emergency call he left to go to. This is him on his way home from his last stop of the day that he just got finished with. Again commitment and dedication. Temperatures haven't reached freezing yet and emergency calls have already started rolling in with busted piping. Shane will be taking as many emergency calls as he can while roads are safe to do so. Please keep in mind that Shane is the only plumber we have at Shane's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning LLC so it will be impossible for him to get to everyone quickly.
