It’s the first question almost everyone asks us, and honestly, we get why. It feels like the simplest way to compare. We just wish it could be answered with one number.

Square footage only tells you how big a home is. The shape, the architectural details, how many bathrooms, the selections you make, and the lot you build on are what really decide the price.

That’s why the better question is “What will my home cost?” or “Here’s what we’re hoping for. What would that take?” That gives us a real starting point to compare against your budget and what spaces of your custom build matter most.
