A milestone Wallek noted that the company is proud of she said is, “This is my 15th year as owner
and I have now been an owner longer than I was an employee.”
“This is an exciting anniversary year during which we look back at our past with gratitude and humility, and we look ahead to a future serving the people of St. Johnsbury and beyond,” said Wallek of Trombly marking its 35th year in business in 2026.
She said, “We genuinely care about our customers and many become friends.”

A second enterprise has also been started through the business, noted Wallek - to train tradespeople to continue to provide critical services in the region.
“Trades UP, LLC trade school is a post-secondary school offering training eventually for all licensed trades in Vermont,” she said. “Currently we are offering certificate classes for NORA (National Oil Heat Research Alliance), EPA 608 Refrigerant Certification, Men’s and Women’s Plumbing workshops and soon to be offering an in-person alternative plumbing and electrical apprenticeship related instruction program.”
Wallek said, “My goal is to have St. Johnsbury
be the hub for trades training. Each trade will have an Introduction class for students to experience different trades before deciding on which one or ones to pursue. This school will be a safe, hands-on learning environment for men and women. Women are very much encouraged to join our trades training.”
