When was the last time your gas logs had a tune-up? 🔥

Gas log sets require routine maintenance to keep them operating properly and looking their best!

During our Gas Log Service, our technicians clean and brush the gas log set, replace the sand, refresh the glowing embers, and clean the thermopile and thermocouple.

Regular maintenance helps keep your gas log set in good working condition and ready for the colder months ahead.!

Schedule your gas log service today!

We’re officially in pumpkin season! 🎃🧁

This week, we made pumpkin cream cheese muffins. We made a special delivery to our technicians on the jobsite, still warm from the cookstove! 🔥

Fresh muffins delivered right to the jobsite? Not a bad day to be a chimney tech.

Now the important question… what should we make next?!

What’s actually inside your chimney? 🔍

Your flue liner has an important job. It helps safely carry heat, smoke, and combustion gases up and out of your home. Depending on your chimney and the appliance it serves, you may have a clay tile liner, stainless steel liner, or a factory-built chimney system. Each works a little differently and has different maintenance needs.

The tricky part? Most of your flue is completely out of sight. Cracks, gaps, deterioration, and other issues can be difficult to spot without taking a closer look. During our chimney inspections, we use a chimney camera to see inside the flue and check areas that can’t be seen otherwise.

Want to know what’s going on inside your chimney? Book online at www.FamilyChimneySweeps.com or give us a call at (269) 235-2824.
