Today was a proud day for conservation in Iowa!
Paul Keppler, owner of Keppler Custom Hire LLC, wears many hats—manager, dirt mover, janitor, groundskeeper, mechanic, and problem solver—but today we celebrate another important role: Chairman of the Iowa Land Improvement Contractors Association (Iowa LICA).
Paul played an active role in bringing the new Iowa LICA Conservation & Demonstration Farm Classroom in Melbourne, Iowa, from vision to reality. After countless hours of planning, coordinating, and hard work by many dedicated individuals, the facility was officially opened today.
The grand opening welcomed leaders and partners from across the state, including representatives from USDA, NRCS, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig, and Iowa Senator Kara Warme, all recognizing the importance of investing in conservation education and the future of Iowa agriculture.
We are incredibly proud of Paul's leadership, dedication, and commitment to leaving Iowa's land better for the next generation. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this project possible!
